Norton Software March 11, 2010 L. Brown I have had Norton for years. I guess it really works because I have not had any trouble with any virus. It is easy to install and run.

Does not protect against Koobface or "XP Internet Security." Found out the hard way when my son got infected. I downloaded a free program and it resolved it quickly. Save your money and use a good shareware program.
Danger, Will Robinson Avoid Norton 360 January 14, 2010 Frances S. Hendrick (Nashville, TN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had Norton Anti-Virus software on my computer for several years with no problem. Last year, I signed up for automatic renewal and I received an email on Dec 5 that my Norton 360 was updated and was charged $84 on my credit card. Then I noticed Norton was mysteriously gone from my computer. I called their help line and after talking to 5 different people, they could not load the new version on my computer. When the new version was loaded, I could not access the internet. I took the software off of my computer and now I receive Explorer error messages every few minutes. The next step is pay someone to fix my computer and load another company's virus software. By the way Norton slows your computer down quite a bit
Terrible December 27, 2009 M. Mckiernan (Columbus, Ohio) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
They have terrible customer service. I started to use AVG because it's free and much better than Norton. I was just waiting for my service to lapse on the Norton when they automatically charged my credit card to renew. It's in the FINE print when you sign up. You have to send like 10 emails to stop the automatic re-enrollement. In order for you to get your money back after the automatic re-enroll you must sit through 30 minutes of the most mind numbing music ever composed. It's a 100% ploy to get you off the phone to stop the cancellation. I love rap, rock, classical, and pop. No person in their right mind could possibly sit through this music without holding it away from your ear. Hung up a few times and called on different days. Each call was no less than 30 minute wait and some calls were automatic hang ups after connection. Took me 3-4 hours on 4-5 days to get refund. NOT WORTH IT!!! Go with AVG...it's free and worked all the bugs that Norton left on!!
It's gotten better December 6, 2009 jabot (USA) I purchased Norton 360 in the past (a couple of years ago I think) and was never able to complete the backup feature; this time everything went much easier and better, no problems
