ZA toolbar not compatible with Firefox May 28, 2010 Menehune (Honolulu, HI) I've been a long time customer of ZA Internet Security Suite until 2010... Firefox 3.6.3 and its addon features are not compatible with this product. Last week I learned the consequences of my actions... my PC get infected while browsing the web. I ended up reinstalling my OS (the only real solution to an infected computer). There was no warning of a virus infecting my computer via Firefox, but that was the only way that I could have gotten infected. I am now seeking another competitor's product that is capable of working on Firefox. By the way, I had the more current version or update of ZA's Internet Security Suite...
Would give them 0 stars if I could November 25, 2009 Jon A. Pastor (Wynnewood, PA USA) 9 out of 16 found this review helpful
They removed the privacy feature from their product suddenly and without notice. I asked them what had happened, and they told me that it was superfluous because web browsers incorporated this functionality. I told them that since I use multiple browsers, the privacy feature was not superfluous to me. Since this feature required no further development, and no ongoing updates, there was no reason to remove it. They replied, basically, T.S., and refused to refund my money. IMHO, this is equivalent to false advertising, because I bought the product based on features that they removed from the product for no reason -- and I don't patronize companies that pull a bait-and-switch like this. Caveat emptor.
